Due to the high number of grant holders and the limited number of persons FCT can assign to answer phones please always consider email as your standard option to contact FCT about Fellowships and Grants. A number of specific email addresses exist to satisfy different needs.

Out of context messages may be left unanswered.

In particular, in the light of some requests for ad hoc completion of applications through documents which were not submitted electronically before a deadline, FCT warns that no such documents will be considered. Check the announcement and the Regulations.

info.bolsas@fct.mctes.pt: Generic information requests concerning applications to research grants. During a call use the Help Desk.
requalificacao.docentes@fct.mctes.pt: Requests specifically concerning the Permanent Call for the Award of Scientific Research Grants to Graduates with Solid College Level Teaching Experience.
id.bolsas@fct.mctes.pt: Information requests from candidates and grant holders which have received a grant reference, namely those who have submitted an application or have started receiving grant payments. The mail Subject should always include the grant reference.

sabaticas@fct.mctes.pt: Information requests concerning Sabbatical Leave Grants.
bii@fct.mctes.pt: Information requests concerning Integration into Research Grants. This is intended for research units. Candidates should contact research units directly.
